Bayfield tour
begins March
Maplewood Manor
Residents of Maplewood
Manor began the month of
March with a drive to
Bayfield. While touring. they
were busy looking for signs
of the maple syrup season.
Church services for the
month were led by Rev.
Vandermey, Rev. Springett,
Pastor Corriveau and Rev.
Hiscox. Residents also
welcomed Rev. MacGregor
for church service this
month.
Gladys Van Egmond and
Elgin Nott provided a fun
afternoon of Irish music to
celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
Residents held a "Farewell
to Winter" party complete
with a picnic followed by a
rousing game of baseball.
Residents enjoyed the
company of Ryan Jewitt and
'Steven East who came to
Maplewood to join in a game
of bingo with them.
Bill Gibson visited to
entertain residents with his
piano music. They also
enjoyed the music and song
provided by Jim MacCallum.
Residents enjoyed the visit
from the Grade 6 class from
St. James School who came
to interview residents. They
arc learning about their
heritage.
There were fashions galore
as Geri Fashions of London
displayed their new spring
and summer clothing at
Maplewood. The highlight of
their visit was the fashion
show where Janneke Murray,
Ruth Snell, Sheila Morton,
Frances Douglas and Marilyn
Hodgen did a great job
modeling the fashions.

THANKS TO OUR
LANDOWNERS
Throughout the OFSC trail system, generous
landowners allow the winter use of their property
for the enjoyment of snowmobiling. This land use
privilege is crucial to the existence of the snowmo-
bile trails which provide many social, recreational
and economic benefits to our entire province.
Without the continuing cooperation of these
unselfish friends of snowmobiling, the quality of
winter life throughout our area would be signifi-
cantly diminished. •
We ask everyone in Ontario, but especially snowmo-
bilers and those who benefit directly from snowmo-
biling, to say a special thanks to our landowners
for the use of their property again this season.
Thank You From...
