March 22, 2000 Correspondents Evening of entertainment planned for March 26 at Seaforth Legion Donations for the auction sale on April 8 at 2 p.m. including baking are still needed. This event is open to everyone. Tickets for the annual duck race to be held on May 6 are on sale from members and at the Branch. On March 26, an evening of entertainment will be held at 7 p.m. with karaoke, horse races. meat draws and more. Beef on a bun will be available. Come out and enjoy this event. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them. Seaforth Legion News Last Thursday at the General Meeting, a Life Membership • was presented to Errol Skillender. Community mourns death of James Kelly Dublin The area is saddened by the death of James J. Kelly of Seaforth, who passed away at Maplewood Manor on Mar. 17. Sympathy is extended to his wife, Marie; to his family, Mary Margaret Nash; to Rose Marie and her husband, Greg Bell; to grandchildren Anthony Pickering, Brandon Nash. Daniel Nash, Korey Nash; to his brother-in-law, Maurice Dillon and wife Eva: to sisters-in-law. Dorothy Dillon; Madelyn Ryan and husband Syl; and to Geraldine Duffy. Father Dino Salvador officiated at the Mass of the Christian Burial at St. James R.C. Church, Seaforth, on Monday, March 20. Happy. 3rd Birthday to Elysse Delaney of Dublin, who celebrated March 21.
