Senior Shuffleboard
Senior Shuffleboard continues every Wednesday afternoon
from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the. Seaforth and 'District Community
Centres. Everyone is welcome to come out for an afternoon
of fun and fellowship. Last week's winners were:

Ringette Tournament
Thc Seaforth Ringette Aksociation will be'hosting their
annual Ringette Tournament on Feb. 18. 19 and 20. Teams

St. Columban were members
of record-setting pick-up game
Two squads of record-setting pick-up
hockey players had .a f0 -man contingent
of St. 'Columhan and -Dublin area
,.-players.
.They were taking part in -the-Labatt
Blue/NHL Pick -Up Hockey Marathon
held in Toronto as a lead -up' to the
recent NHL All-Star game held there.
The event saw five squads of 1.80
hockey placers divided into two teams
with each squad playing as -long as. it
could in an attempt -to set-a.record of the
longest game ever played.
The almost 72 -hour game. which
started \tunda. Jan. 31 and lasted 'until
Thursday. Feb. 3 just after 8 a.m.. has
been .uhmittted to the Guiness Book of
World Records for the organization to-
;consider adding to its record hunk.
