Together with Emily and Michael, 1
would Tike to sincerely thank every-
one for their sympathy, generosity
and loving support to us at this most
difficult time with the sudden loss of
Ralph. The overwhelming kindness
shown to us from our family, friends
and the members of the conmuniy
is a consoling strength for us. We
thank you for the many phone calls,
food. flowers, visits and the dona-
tions made in memory of Ralph.
This certainly made Emily and
Michael feel their father had
touched the lives of many people. A
special thank you to Joan Pollard
and staff for their guidance, to Rev.
Gani Lazaro for his kind words and
to the UCW ladies for the luncheon
following the funeral service. And to
Tracy and Everlasting Flowers for
the extra work they had to do and
for the beautiful flower arrange-
ments which made the church look
lovely. Ralph was a very special
person to me and his children. His
smile, kindness and memories will
always remain in our hearts. It is so
hard to say goodbye to someone
you love. May God bless you for
your kindness and may the memo-
ries of Ralph remain in your hearts

Kerslake - Tremeer
1
Anne Lawrie Kerslake and Jeffrey Allen
Tremeer were united in marriage on Nov. 6,
1999. They were married at Hibbert United
Church in Staffa, with Rev. Kathi Urbasik-
Hindley officiating. Anne is the daughter of
William & Freda Kerslake of Staffa. Jeff is the
son of David & Christine Tremeer of Kippen.
Matron of Honour Kate Bancroft sister of the
bride, bridesmaid Angie Nicholls friend of
bride. Best man Kevin Diegel friend of the
groom. Groomsmen Gerald Kerslake brother

More than 200 people attended thc dinner at the Legion on
Sunday.
Tickets arc now on sale at the Branch for the Honours and
Awards Dinner to be held on Feb. 12. Get your tickets as
soon as possible.
The•Public Speaking contest for local students is being
held on Feb. 13. Come out and support this event and hear
the talented students from our local schools.
Dominion Command Ottawa has -tulip hulks from Holland
on sale to Legion members and the public to commemorate
the 75 years of community service by the Royal Canadian
Legion. Anyone interested in these hulks can contact Branch
156, Seaforth or directly from Dominion Command Ottawa.
The Ladies Auxiliary to Branch 156 was saddened to hear
of thc death in Florida of Past Zone Commander Mary
Hawn. We express our sympathy to her family and friends.
At the going down of thc sun and in the morning we will
remember them.
