day after visiting for two weeks in
London owing to the death of her
sister, Mrs. J. W. Duncan.

the latter is a member of the staff
of the Collegiate ' Institute.
Mr. :and Mrs. I'elson,Hill, of the
Bank of Commerce, Toronto, are
holidaying with the former's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Hill.
Dr. J. H. and Mrs. Browning and
son Gail, have arrived in Exeter,
where the doctor will be associated,
with his father, Dr. J. W. Browning.
Contractor J. L. Lewis has just
finished a kitchen and sunroom for
Mr. C. Sholdice and a verandah for
Mr.- Wilbert Sholdice 'near Brinsley.
The Fall wheat which came.
through the winter sowell is now
fully headed out and while short in
the straw promises to be a good av-
erage yield.
Mrs. Albert Neil of Port Huron
who recently underwent an opera-
tion at Dr. Hyndman's hospital is
much improved and is visiting at
the home of Mrs. Ed. Willis.
Mr. Chas. Blight and daughter,
Hazel; Mr, and Mrs. Wm. Draper
and Mrs. Britton motored up from
Brooklyn, Ont., and spent the week-
end with, 1tTr. and Mrs. W. H. Wood.
