Tree of lights will be lit
The Seaforth Hospital
Auxiliary would like to
invite everyone to their
annual "Tree of Lights"
Ceremony on Nov. 28 from
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m..
The lighting ceremony will
be held at 7 p.m. on the front
lawn of the hospital.
Come visit with Santa and
,enjoy some hot mulled cider
and homemade cookies.
Proceeds will go towards
purchasing a Therapeutic
Ultrasound.
Parade on Friday
The Seaforth Santa Claus
Parade will be held on Nov.
26 beginning at 7 p.m.
This year's .theme willbe
"Christmas over the years".
Mark this date on your
calendar and come out to
watch a great parade.
Toy and Doll show to be.

The Agricultural Society's
annual Toy. Doll and Craft
show will be held the
weekend following the
parade, Dec. 4 and 5.'
This show attracts vendors
from all over Ontario and

Quebec Sports Hall of Fame

Eisler and his figure skating
partner. Isabelle Brasseur of
St -Jean -sur -Richelieu,
Quebec have been inducted

of Fame.
Attending the ceremony
last Friday were parents, Bev
and Lloyd Eisler. .
• "It was a really exciting
evening. Something I'II
never forget." she said.
Eisler and Brasseur were
among six other inductees
into the hall of fame at a
ceremony which saw the
Eislers in the presence of
sports legends like Guy
Lafleur . and Maurice
(Rocket) Richard and Jaques
Lemaire.
This follows the pair's
induction early this year into
the Canadian Figure Skating
Hall of Fame.

accomplishment, the pair are
1993 World Figure Skating
Champions and two-time
Olympic bronze medal

winners.
Bev Eisler said Lloyd
moved from Quebec this
month to Bath, Ontario while
Brasseur has moved to
Pennsylvania. They alternate
..weeks in each other's home
areas to train and practice
together.
Eisler also said a new book
about her son's life after
amateur skating has just been
published.
While he has moved 'back
to Ontario. Eisler still
operates an arena, gym and..
part of a music studio in
Quebec.
