The speedneed for Kevin MacDonald gets his aggressions out racing on the drag strip in his Mustang By Scott Hilgendorff Expositor Editor Kevin MacDonald •regularly drives at more -,than 100, miles an hour but he's never hada speeding ticket. • He hits those speeds on the'drag strip in his '87 Mustang iii .the professional .eliminattir classes at the Grind Bend Motoplex and a track in St. Thomas. "When I had me licence. • 1 started racing. When I turned 16. I' got my first car and t've been doing it ever since.' • said ' MacDonald.:; . Sincehe- was a kid. his • dad Brian had been taking him and his brother, Mark. io drag races. Then Mark began racing whenhe turned 1.6: :"We -.were there' every weeked and 1 grew into it.' said MacDonald..now 21. Over the next year. the County is faced with the decision of determining whether to deliver this serviceitself, contract it out. or Continue with the five existing providers in the County. As a result, five public meetings have been scheduled to provide you with the opportunity to raise any issues, concerns. or questions you may have about the future of land ambulance service delivery in Huron County.
