Tearing it up
They may not have had much altitude on the jumps but the beginner class competitors
were tearing up the track in their division of motocross races at Friday's events of the
Walton TransCan Grand National Motocross held Thursday through Sunday.

Locally, Jerry Searle of Seaforth placed 10th in .the 150 Beginner class,
Brett Lee of Walton placed 35th in the 125 Pro and Sth in the Youth 16-25.
Nicolas DeBrusk of Seaforth.placed 35th in the 60ce PeeWee. Cory
DeBrusk of Seaforth placed 19th in the 80 cc --13 to 16 -year-old class.
Mandy Handenko of Walton placed lith ip Ladies and Chris Lee of Walton
placed 3rd in the Over 40 di' tsion.
