In first place were the Keene family of Stratford -with Glenn (skip). Glennis (vice) and daughter Allison leading. Second was Moe Cosyn of Woodstock with Jean and Carol Fuller.of Ingersoll. Third was another family team with Brenda -Empey. Clinton. skip Diane March. Burlington (vice) and father • Art .Finlayson (lead). Fourth place went to Lee Ryan. Carol Carter and Thelma ' Coombs. • Fifth was another Seaforth' team of Neil and Donna Beuerman with Ivor Newton of St. Marys leading. Sixth went to Marjorie Leslie (skip). Marilyn Lancaster•(vice) and -Re'g Near (lead) of St. Marys Consolation prize .went t0 Burl Roller and his rink from Florida. • The hard luck prize fqr the day went to London's thistle club entry of Ken and Eileen Crowe and Billie Van Exan. Mac Cosyn commented on the excellence of the Seaforth Greens and weather-wise it was a good day. Bowling in Goderich last Tuesday evening. four Seaforth_ teams were in the .prize money. First place went to Donna and Neil Beuerman with Donna as skip. Second was Lee Ryan and Carol Carter, third prize to Bob Doig and Thelma Coombs and fourth to Jack and Marie Muir. July 22. in ladies pairs at Atwood. Eileen Adamson and Jean Lunn -were first prize winners. Thelma Coombs and Olive Papple were also twogame winners. - July 21 at Lois Haines tournament in Clinton. Erich and Joyce Matzold won seventh prize. ' Thursday at 10:30 a.m. will be ladies pairs at the Seaforth Greens sponsored by Neil and Edna Bell. We are sorry to report Neil has not been in good health this year and he and -Edna are missed at the bowling club. Tuesday, July 27, will be the monthly social with potluck supper and bowling after. This year's match is being hosted on the farm of William and Amy Fothcringham. The farm is located at Lot 39, Conc. . 3 LRS. Tuckersmith Township, two comers south and one corner east of Clinton or four corners west and two corners south of Seaforth. The plowing starts in the morning with late model and antique tractors competing. Later in the morning. the horse plowing begins.
