Q. A friend of mine recently had a miscarriage. She carries on as if she had
raised this child. Isn't that an over reaction?
Al Whether a baby dies in utero or at birth, the experience is always traumatic.
Mothers report that they experience a birth and death simultaneously. Regardless
of the cause of death, parents (eel they have lost a part of themselves, as well as
their link to the future. They also often feel that no one will remember their baby
and that their feelings of pain are in vain There is an international organization
called Compassionate Friends which offers comfort and support to those who
have last a child or an infant. Advise your friend to seek her local chapter.

MACGREGOR: In loving memory
of a dear husband Wilmer who

Another year has passed, seems
like only yesterday you were here
with me.
Sharing all our hopes and dreams
which now can never be.
Lonely this path is difficult to walk
upon today,
Time will never fade nor tears erase
my love for you.
As I travel down those winding
paths without an end,
Each path I try so hard to find you,
as each bend seems so far away.
Ever seeking a road marked
Heaven for I know that's where you.
stay.
To give up all those tomorrows for
just our yesterdays.
To finish all our dreams our hearts
held dear,
To build our final homestead in
God's promised land.

let us part.
"Hon" you are always by my side
walking hand in hand in dreams that
seem so real,
It is here that I find solace and draw

Dear friends: Your remembrances
in thoughts, words or deeds, in hon-
our of our 60th Wedding
Anniversary, have touched both of
us deeply. In a world so burdened
with activity, grief. poverty, sickness
and war. we respect your desire to
share with us. Your choice rein-
forces our hope for humanity. As we
read each message and signature
we reflect upon the times when we
were in .closer touch with each of
you. We regret the times when we
have failed to be as thoughtful as
you have been. Your stamps are
supporting the Hearing Impaired,
your envelopes are becoming
scratch pads for someone's desk.
Your messages, oral and written are
tucked closely in our hearts. May
God bless you and keep you, Guard
you. and guide you. May He help
each of us to do that which is right
and well pleasing in His sight.
