She carries on as if she had raised this child. Isn't that an over reaction? A Whether a baby dies in utero or at birth, the experience is always traumatic. Mothers report that they expenence a birth and death simultaneously Regardless of the cause of death, parents feel they have lost a part of themselves, as well as their link to the future. They also often feel that no one will remember their baby and that their feelings of pain are in vain. There is an international organization called Compassionate Friends which offers comfort and support to those who have lost a child or an infant Advise your fnend to seek her local chapter. *Questions asked during bereavement classes are answered here by the editor of AfterLoss, the monthly grief -recovery HelpLetter. In Memoriam GLANVILLE: In loving memory of John Glanville, who passed away 10 years ago July 26, 1989. There is a bridge of memories, From here to heaven above. That keeps you very close to us, ,It's called the bridge of love. As time goes by without you, As the days have turned into years. They hold a million memories And a thousand silent tears. To us you were so special, What more is there to say. Except we wish with all our hearts, That you were here today. Lovingly remembered and still missed by wife Winnie and your family. 46-29x1 LEEMING: Cecilia. In loving memo- ry of a dear mother, mother-in-law and grandmother who passed away two years ago July,22, 1997. Though her smile is gone forever, And her hand we cannot touch, Still we have the memory Of the one we loved so much. We think of you in silence, We often speak your name, But all we have are memories And your picture ina frame. Your resting place we visit, And put flowers with care. But no one knows the heartache, As we turn and leave you there. Life must go on, we know it's true, But it's not -the same since we lost you. Sadly missed and forever in our thoughts; Dan.
