Bowlers do well
at area tournaments
Seaforth Lawn
Bowlers have been
active in out-uf-town
tournaments this past ,
week.
Last Tuesday, Eileen
Adamson and Neil
Beucrman won the • •
consolation.prize howling at
London's Elmwood Club. .
Bowling in Brussels on
Thursday, Lee Ryan and.
Carol Carter won first place
while Jack and Marie Muir
were 8th:
Friday. three Seaforth
teams bowling in a
tournament and Thelma
Coombs and Neil Bcuerman
were fourth while Jack and
Mark Muir were sixth.
Two men's pairs took part -
in a Woodstock tournament
on Wednesday. Saturday saw

several Seaforth rinks

In first place were Lee
Ryan and Carol Carter of
Seaforth with Shirley
Schmidt of Goderich as Mad.
Second place went to the
Seaforth rink of Jack. and:
Marie Muir and Bob Doig.
Clinton had a ladiespairs
tournament last Monday but
due to the extremely hot
weather, just played three,
ten -end games. ,
Coming up this week at
the' Seaforth Greens will be -
-the Etuc Tournament on
Wednesday commencing at
10:30 a.m. white on Friday
evening, at 7 p.m. will be.

with us for months before we purchased this ,house. Her ability and

all of their help 'and encouragement. Lynne & Reg Badley, our
neighbours and friends have worked hand' in hand with us for the
last few.months trying to get everything finished and to Marjorie
Pehlke a dear friend who has always been there for me. '
A special thanks to my brother and his wife, Sam & Ann Little who
went out of their way to be here from Red: Deer Alberta when we
first moved in and who have continued to help us throughout.

Soccer team played an away
game in Wallaceburg this past
week. The St. Columban team
played seven players against
eleven for -most of the game
and kept it tight until late in
the, second half when
Wallaccburg broke out.
