and down 6-0; before Tyler Doig hit.

Seaforth scored five runs in the
fourth and six runs in the fifth.
Pitcher Tyler Doig struck out nine
batters and stole home in the
fifthwith two out. Ryan Nurse had
two doubles and four RBis and
Darcy McCutcheon hit a double
and three RBIs.

Brantford Won 3rd in juniors
competition at Ottawa in
1976.
Last week at the men's
-tournament. in Seaforth, father
Bob Bester and his three sons.
Christopher. Michael and
Ryan. were all competing.
Ryan is just 14 yrs. old and
last year won the juniors
singles for Ontario, while
Fairmont's Melissa Ranger at
15 won the Ontario ladies
singles. the youngest. person -
ever to win it.
Previous "to that . Brenda
(Finlayson) Empey had won
the Ontario ladies singles in
1977 at the. age. of 21. Brenda
still bowls but out of Clinton
now. •
