Community Centres

St. James CWL would like

annual Bazaar on May 29 at
St. James School from 1:30

Child Safety Fair
A Child Safety Fair,
sponsored by the Seaforth
Optimist Club, Seaforth,
Agricultural Society,
Seaforth Co-operative
Children's Centre and- the
Block Parent Association
will be held on Sunday. June.
6 at the Seaforth AgriPlex
from 1 to 5 p.m. •
Participating groups are the
Seaforth Fire Department.
Seaforth Ambulance Service,
the Agricultural Society, the
Seaforth Co-operative
Children's Centre. H'iron
County Health Unit, Murphy
Bus Lines. Ontario Hydro.
Block Parents and the
Optimist Club. •
Children participating in
the bicycle rodeo must have
a bike and helmet. There
will be' a "Best Decorated
Bike" contest and bikes must
be decorated at home.
Judging will be at. 4 p.m. A
free hot dog and pop will be
given to each participating
child.

Seaforth Bears Pee Wee boys Tri -County
fastball team defeated Atwood by a score of
8-6 on Thursday. May 20. -

pitching going ihe.distance. •

....rallied with Live runs.,Tyler Doig started it off
.with a double. stole third.and home. Darcy
.McCutcheon hit a double. followed by a
double by Brent Coleman driving Darcy '
home. Derek' Fischer walked, then Ryan
Nurse hit a triple driving Brent and Derek
home. Cody McNaughton hit a double
driving Ryan home. to complete the rally.
Defensive performances were turned in by
Ryan. Nurse with a shoestring catch over by
1st base and a line drive caught by Bill Nigh
in foul territory. both plays ending innings.
Seaforth will host Hullett on Thursday. May
27 at 7 p.ni. at Lions Park!
Department's Fitness is Fun

The Seaforth Lions Pool

Saturday. June 5.
Registration will be held
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The lessons will be held
June 14-25. 4:30 to 6 p.m.
and mornings from July 5-
16. July 19 -30 and August
9-20. No phone registrations
will be accepted.
