some of this and is currently
working on several other

to these requests,
"We certainly have the key
elements in place." said
Adamson. That includes a
newly appointed management
team that is currently working
with the Huron Perth District
Health Council on improving
access to services. Work is
being done on management

"It is clear that our chosen
model and. commitment to
integration are consistent with
the commission's vision of
health care in Ontario:" said
Dr. Kerry Blagrave in a press
release. He is chair of the
Joint Executive Committee
that has been working on
defining the partnership
operation.
He said the main principle
of the partnership is that

He is also pleased that the
commission has supported the
direction the partnership has
taken.
MPP Helen Johns. who
worked on the development

Policy when she was
parliamentary assistant at the
Ministry of Health, said in a
press release, she "was
pleased that -the report has
strengthened health care in
her community and
acknowledged that no
hospitals will close."
Adamson said the only
concern is that there was no
reference to capital funds
requested in the summer. The
commission had asked for a
response to its .proposed:
networks of hospitals and also
for capital requests.
Requests were made for
capital funds for Godcrich
and Stratford, both of which
need work on their operating

Adamson had hoped the
