Avon board introduces French immersion
Students in -French
immersion learn how to
speak in French while most
Grade 8 students of tore
French would tind it hard to
order food in French at a fast
food restaurant. He said the
core French's purpose is to
expose children to.another
_language while French
iminersion teaches more
fluency. •
Currently students don't
have the opportunity -to learn
French for jobs with..
bilingual requirements.
