THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF SEAFORTH - ..
The attached Application dated December 9, 1998 has been filed by Union Gas Limited
("Union") with the Ontario Energy' Board under sections -9 and 10 of the Municipal
Franchises Act; R.S.0. 1%90, c:M.55, as amended. Union has applied for an order of the
Board. app.roving; the, terms. and conditions -upon which and'the period for which the
'Corporation of the Town:of Seaforth ("the Municipality") is, by by -Jaw ("the By-law"
to grant to Union right to construct and -operate works for the distribution, of gas anis t.;
extend or add tothe orks in the Municipality (''the Franchise Agreement").
Union has also applied for an order of thq Board declaring and directing that the as-,s•nt
of the.electors of the Town of Seaforth to the .By-law is not necessary.
Union is presently serving the'Municipality andhas a Certificate.of Pubic Convenience
and Necessity (F-B.C.244) and an Order of the Board approving tie• terms and -concis
