ERQM Page 1
The event is sanctioned by
the Canadian Motorcycle
Association.
There are classes for kids
eight and under and women
to masters classes and classes
for drivers more than 40
years old.
Drivers will predominantly
be coming from this region
but Lee knows of others
coming from Niagara Falls.
Lec said the event is geared
toward everyone with enough
classes to suit every driving
experience including first-
time racers.
Lee said there arc lots of
drivers who ride trails which
require speed limits and
restrictions.
He said the Snowcross
event will give riders a
chance to run their machines
faster.
"I think it's a good chance
to let off some steam, he
said.
The race is similar in style
to motocross events with
drivers completing 10 to 15
laps of a course with turns
and jumps. Skilled drivers
can been seen in leaps of 40
to 50 feet with hights of up to
12 feet.
Lee is hoping to see 100
drivers and 1.000 spectators
for -this event with hopes of
holding more.
Drivers must register at 8
a.m. for each race day with
practice races beginning at 9
a.m. and the actual events
starting at 1 p.m.
