under the auspices of the Women's
Institute. Admission 27 cents. pro-
gram begins at 8 o'clock sharp.
Band at the Dome Rink on Wed-
nesday and Saturday evenings wea-

Mr. Bert Doyle was in London for
a couple of days.

after his recent illness.

Miss Auld of Watford, has resum-
ed her, position as milliner, with Miss

been ill, has not been as well during
the past week.
Mr. Lloyd White, who has been in
Hamilton for the past six weeks has
returned to town.
Mr. Geo. Smith, who has been ill
at his home in Exeter North, is im-
proving and is able to be up.
Mrs. Van Herne of Clinton, spent
the week -end in town with her
mother, Mrs. 'Albert Ryckman.
Mr, Nelson Vale, of. Exeter North
is seriously ill at his home suffering
from blood -poison in his hand and
arm.

Messrs C. H. Sanders, S. M. Sand-
ers, and L. J. Penhale are in HamiI-
ton this week attending the annual
meeting of the Canadian Canners.

Dr. Malloy, of Saskatoon, Sask.,
who left Exeter about fifteen years
ago, has been renewing acquain-
tances in town this week and his
many old friends r were pleased to
see him again.
The curfew bell was rung on Mon-
day night at nine o'clock for the first
time since the passing of the by-law
