THE BEST
CHRISTMAS EVER
I think that the best
Christmas ever would be
to be stranded on an
island in the middle of
nowhere with women
hula dancing around me
while they are feeding me
fruit. I could go
swimming anytime I
want. I could dance
anytime I want, and I
could eat anytime I want.
The women hula dancing
,would wave palm tree
leaves to cool me off.
Then a stork would fly '
over the island and drop a
little baby into my hands.
It would be just the cutest
little girl I've ever seen.
The baby and I would lie
down when she was tired
and the women hula
dancing would sing her a
lullaby to get her to
sleep. The baby would eat
some fruit and drink
coconut juice. Then a
couple that are about 40
years old that has never
had a baby or thought
about adopting a baby,
came by the island on
their cruise. Then I would
get up and give them the
baby and they would be
so thankful and happy.
Seeing another couple
drive away on their boat
with a homeless child
would be the best
Christmas ever!

THE BEST
CHRISTMAS EVER
To make this the hest
Christmas ever. I would.
have to get everything I
asked for. It would have •
to be snowing on
Christmas Eve, and
continue to snow very
lightly on Christmas day
and until the New Year.
The meals would have to
be with turkey or.roast
beef, not chicken. All of
my relatives would ha.ve
to get to the "Christmas
Gathering" safely. My
relatives would have to
stay just as long as 1 do,
and not leave early.
All of the people of the
world would have to have
a great Christmas. No one
would die trying to get to
a Christmas Reunion.
Every family would have
to be together for the
holidays. I want everyone
to be joyful.,
Finally; my idea of the
best Christmas ever ends
• with a wish for every
child and adult to have
something to look
forward to on December
25, Christmas day!,

BEST CHRISTMAS
EVER
Two_ years ago to start
the day I found a CD
player under the tree for
,me. This was something I
really wanted and 1 was
really thrilled. As soon as
we finished opening our
gifts we drove to
grandma's for breakfast.
All my other aunts.
uncles and cousins came
too makilig a grand total
of 26 people. We' play
games and open'
grandma's gifts. 1 was
very pleased to receive a
blanket that she had
made. That will he a kept
sake 1 shall -always
treasure. At 11:30 we
have a light 'breakfast
because we have snacks
at 1:00. In the afternoon
is spent playing games'
and catching up on each
others news. By 6:00 our
mouths arc watering for
that truckev we've been
smelling ail afternoon.
By six o'clock we all sit
down to a festive looking
table of delicious food.
After the dishes are done
the adults play a game of
euchre. Everyone usually
is ready to go home by
10:30. This was one of "
the best Christmas I can
remember.

1 have a list of folks I know, all written'in a,book,
And every year at Christmas time I go and take a look.
And that is When 1 realize that these' names are a pari
Not of the hook they're in, but of me and my heart.
For each name stands for someone who has crossed my
path sometime, ,
Ar1d in that meeting they've become the Rhythm of the
Rhyme.
And while it sounds fantastic for me to make this
claim, ,
I really feel 1 am composed of each remembered name.
And while you may not be aware of any special link,
Just meeting you has shaped my life mor'e,than you
can think
For once you've met somebody, the years cannot .
erase
The trlemory of a pleasant wor, .)t of a friendly,
face.
So never think my Christmas greeting is just a
mere tontine,
Of names upon a Christmas list, forgotten in between
For when 1 send a Christmas greeting that
is addressed to you,
It's because you're on the list of folks I am indebted to.
For I ani but a total of many folks I've met,
And you happen to be one of those I prefer
not to forget.
And whether I have known you for '
many days or a few,
In some way you have had a part in
shaping things I do.
And every year when Christmas comes I
realize anew
The biggest gift life can give SS meeting
folks. like you.
And may the Spirit of Christmas
that forever and ever endures,
Leave its richest blessings in the
Heart of You and Yours.
