"Pam would you like to go
to the mall to see Santa?"
asked Cody, Pam's older
brother.
"Sure 1 would love to see
Santa. But where?" asked
Pam.
"At the mall silly."
Cody is a 13 year old boy
who loves Pam. his little
sister, but they are 9 years
apart so they don't have much
in common. Pam is an
outgoing child who talks a lot.
It is the day before Christmas
and Cody, was taking Pam to
the mall but' Pam got lost.
Here is how it went.
"Pam would you like to go
to the toy store and make a list
to show. Santa when you go
and sit on his lap?" questioned
Cody.
"Yes but I know what I. want
for Christmas. I want a new
pair of skates." replied Pam.
"Let's go in because I don't
know what 1 want for
Christmas." Cody told Pam.
"Can we go into the doll
store?" asked Pam.
"When you come with mom
and dad, you can go to the doll
store hut today we are going
to this toy store. Show me
what you want for Christmas."
Cody said to Pam when they
were walking into the toy
store,
"Look at this talking doll.
Cody!" •
"Pam look! You will love
this -pair of skates. They are
pink."
"Can you buy them for me?"
"No!"
"Let's go see Santa." Cody
told Pam.
"Is it a long walk to see
Santa because he lives in the
North Pole?" Pam asked.
"Santa comes to the mall to
sec all the boys and girls at
Christmas," Cody told Pam.
Pam ran to see Santa. She
pushed and shoved all of the
other kids out' of her way so
she could sec Santis first. Cody
had to walk her hand in hand
to the enil of the line. Pam
cried and pried. Soon it was
Pam's turn to see Santa. She
told Santa at least 40 things
that she -wanted for Christmas.
On the way out of the mall she
ran ahead and got lost. .
"Pam, where you you?
yelled Cody. "Excuse me
mister. Can you help me find
my littic,sister?"
She was running ahead and
now she's lost. Can you help?
"Yes I can. she went to the
doll store and then the candy
store." replied the police
officer. "1 found her stealing a
candy cane from Santa." •
"Don't worry I will hold her
hand and she will never get in
your way again." Cody
reassured the police officer.
"Don't worry. Where arc
your parents'' They must he
worried."
"Our parents are at work.
Pam here wanted to go sec
Santa so 1 thought that it
would be okay if I, took her. I
lett a note letting my mom and
dad know where .wc were."
"Would you like a ride
home" It is cold and getting
late," offered the police
officer.
"Sure we live on North
Street Number 41."
"Okay is that a magical
street or what? North street ,
get it joked the police officer.
"Mom , dad 1 love you. We
went to see Santa at the North
Pole." Pam told her parents.
"Cody where were you? We
were very worried about both
of you."
"We went to see Santa at the
mall and this police officer
gave us a ride home."
"Thank you for giving our
kids a ride home. I hope it was
not a problem."
"Don't worry about it. It's
Christmas" replied the police
officer.
As the police officer left,
Cody and Pam told their
parents the whole story. Pam
told her parents that she
thought that the police officer
was Santa.

COOL SANTA IN THE

Once upon a time there was
a man named Kris Kringle, He
was a jolly man. He drives his
favourite thirigs which are
snowmobiles, boats in Florida
and when he is feeling rich he
rides in his Limo. He lives in
the white house nobody

the president doesn't know
about it.
Santa's traditional ride is a
sleigh and for his vacation he
is going to Hawaii. The
terrorists took over the speed
boat. Santa and Mrs. Claus
were tied 'to their seats and
couldn't get off them. The
speed boat hit an old ship and
Santa and Mrs. Claus fell out
of the boat, into the water still
tied up and still on the chair.
Their air was running out then
the Secret Service came to the
rescue but the terrorists were

Christmas is going to be
ruined. All Santa's friends
went looking for Santa. His
poor wife was stooing in the
bedroom.
It turns out the aliens have
him and they want
5999,000,000 and Santa
doesn't have any money to
pay a ransom of that sum.
The aliens noticed their
space ship is gone and so is
Santa. Santa had stolen their
space ship and returned to
earth. The children noticed
that he had come back.
Everyone was happy and
cheered. The police said
Christmas is saved.

SEASON'S
GREETINGS
Melissa Marion, St. James School. Grade 5
On Christmas Eve all was
silent, everyone had gone to
the Christmas Eve service.
Everyone was there grandma,
grandpa, mom, dad, all my
cousins, uncles and aunts.
When all of the family had
cattle home from the church
all of the presents, decorations
and food were gone. Everyone
looked high and low but no
one would find any of the
presents or decorations. They
looked under the bed in the
closet, up in the attic but they
didn't find anything but old
toys and dust.
They didn't know where to
look at anything. I said to my
cousin, "I wonder where all
the presents have gone."
My cousin replied. "Maybe
we could look outside in the
shed, they might be there."
I exclaimed, "that's a great
idea, I never thought of that."
When we had put on are hats
and coats we went into the
shed. Suddenly my cousin saw
a trail of toys and decorations,
we fpllowed them through my
grandpa's tools they sat in the
corner. All of the presents,
decorations and kx>d were all
sparkling in the light. '
My cousin and I ran inside
and told everyone that we had
found the decorations.
presents and food. Everyone
ran outside and brought
everything in and put it all up
again. Everything was back to
a normal Christmas eve.
