WHITNEY, Louise (Lou): At
Stratford General Hospital, on
Tuesday, December 8, 1998, Mary
Louise Whitney, of Hillside Nursing
Home, Mitchell and formerly of
Seaforth, in her 91st year. Beloved
wife of the late Albert Whitney
(1987). Also predeceased by her
daughter. Lois Hamilton (1957), her
parents, Ralph and Mary
(Struthers) Tucker, two sisters,
Myrtle Miller and Isabel Farrell and
her brother, Beverly Tucker. Mrs.
Whitney is survived by several
nieces and nephews, son-in-law,
Ross Hamilton and his wife Carol
of Wingham, and special friends
Joan and Bert Lubbers of Seaforth.
Friends were received prior to the
funeral service on Friday,
December 12, at the Whitney-Ribey
Funeral Home, Seaforth. Rev. Jane
Kuepfer officiated. Interment
Wingham Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Adam Miller, Joel Miller, Ron
Driscoll, Jack Lubbers. Brad Ribey
and Bob Beuttenmiller. Memorial
donations to the Seaforth Lions
Park and Pool would be appreciat-
ed as expressions of sympathy. 42-

BACHERT, Mabel went to be with
her Lord at Seaforth Community
Hospital on Thursday, December
10, 1998, in her 81st year. Beloved
wife of Bert Bachert, Seaforth. Dear
mother of Kathy Bachert of
Seaforth, Keith and Janet Bachert
of Walton, Ken and Charlotte
Bachert, Seaforth, Dan and Mary
Bachert of Egmondville and Dale
and Starr Bachert of Blyth. Fondly
remembered by nineteen grandchil-
dren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also survived by her sister. Edith
and her husband Harold Widrick of
Baden. Predeceased by her par-
ents, Christian Schwartzentruber
and Nancy Zehr, and her brother
and sister-in-law, Edmund and
Katie Schwartzentruber. Family
received friends at the Whitney-
Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth. on
Friday from 2:30 - 5 p.m. and 7-9
p.m. The funeral service was held
at Northside United Church,
Seaforth, at 2 p.m. on Saturday,
December 12. Mr. William Aiken
officiated. Pallbearers were Michael
Bachert, Daniel P. Bachert,
Stephen Bachert, Mark Bachert,
Kevin Bachert and Darcy Bachert.
Flower bearers were Anthony
Bachert, Ben Bachert, Sarah
Bachert and Derick Bachert.
Interment Egmondville Cemetery.
