The Huron Expositor, 1998-12-09, Page 19Seaforth earns three of four points on weekend
Hot line keeps Cents cooking •
Seaforth's Centenaires
stormed back from three
goals down after two periods
to tie the Lancers 3-3 in
Lambeth Sunday night, after
dropping the team with the
best record in their
conference, the Thamesford
Trojans, 8-6 in a free -scoring
frenzy at the arena Friday.
The three of a possible four
points on the weekend leaves
them with a slightly firmer
hold on third place in the
Morenz Division, now with a
record of nine wins, a tie and
13 losses, one in overtime.
The Seaforth coaches put
Friday night's big line back
together - Shawn Walsh,
Steve McInally and Mark
Van Dooren - for the third
period at Lambeth Sunday,
and McInally put the Cents
on the board three minutes
into the period.
Walsh walked out from the
back of the net and flipped
the puck into the top corner
to pull Seaforth to within one
