CAMPBELL, George R: At
Seaforth Community Hospital, on
Tuesday, November 24, 1998,
George Robert Campbell, in his
90th year. Beloved husband of the
late Esther (Kerr) Campbell (1984).
Mr. Campbell continued to farm in
McKillop Township where he lived
his entire life. He was a member of
the Oddfellows and L.O.L. and a
former board member of the Pork
Producers Association. Mr.
Campbell served on McKillop
Township Council and acted as
school trustee for several years. He
was the dear father of Mabel and
her husband Harry Nesbitt of
Stratford, Muriel and her husband
Walter McClure of RR #2, Seaforth,
Arnold Campbell and his wife
Margie of RR #5, Seaforth, Leslie
Campbell and his wife Gayle of
Seaforth and Marjorie and her hus-
band Hardy Dillon ot Elmira. He
was fondly remembered by 19
grandchildren and 32 great grand-
children. Besides his wife, Esther,
Mr. Campbell was predeceased by
his parents, Jim Henry Campbell
and Harriet Dale and two grand-
sons. Family received friends at the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home,
Seaforth, on Thursday from 3.5 and
7-9 p.m. The funeral service was
held at the funeral home on Friday,
November 27, 1998 at 2 p.m. Rev.
Jane Kuepfer officiated. Interment
Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
Pallbearers were Richard Nesbitt,
George McClure, Jim Campbell,
Jeff Campbell, John Dillon and
Danny Kerr. Flower bearers were

nursing before becoming the
Director of Nursing at Clinton Public
Hospital. She was the retired
Director of Nursing of Clinton Public
Hospital and a member of Ontario
Street United Church, Ontario
Street UCW and a member of the
Clinton Garden Club. Miss Elliott
was born in Stanley Twp on Feb.
22, 1910 to James Wellington Elliott
and the former Eva Rebecca Reid
who predeceased her. Dear sister
and sister-in-law of Beth and Arthur
Dutton of Bayfield and Elsie Elliott
of Stratford. Loving aunt of
DeWayne and Sofia Elliott of
Mississauga, Gaye and Loren
Rodvold of Minn. and Lawrence
