Project's fantastic finale
Nov. 29 was a fantastic
finale for the "St. Columban
Community Builder Project".
Nine tables of euchre
participated in a euchre
tournament. Erin Flanagan
won the ladies high, while
Tony Dekroon won the men's
high. Brad Murray won the
most lone hands, while the
winners of the low prizes kept
a low profile and remained
anonymous.
Mat games, board games
and shuffleboard were
enjoyed by those not
participating in euchre. This
was a successful project co-
ordinated by Jeff Murray as a
school community service
project. St. Columban School
provided the facilities.
Many from the communities
came out on Sunday evenings
to support this project,
parents supervised and helped
out in many ways: Jeff did a
great job.
St. Columban soccer teams
can boast two new future
players. Congratulations to
Dave and Faye Murray on the ,
arrival of Samuel Carnochan
Murray; and Wayne and Tina
Ryan on the arrival of Sarah
Emily Ryan.
