Another new and exciting
activity has swept S.D.H.S.
"Zany Tuesdays" provides
fun and excitement for all.
Each Tuesday promotes a
different fun filled event,
which takes place in the
cafeteria from 11:45 a.m. to
12:15 p.m.
The first Tuesday in
November, students enjoyed
watching their peers
participate in "The Pudding
Drop." It is a rather messy
sport, with one person
standing on a chair dropping
pudding into the open mouth
of his or her partner who is
lying on the floor. The prize
goes to the team that has the
least amount of pudding on
their faces.
On Tuesday, November 10,
participants got to boost their
calcium intake with the "milk
chug -a -lug" contest. The
team who could drink the
most milk in the allotted time
won a "beautiful blowup
bovine."
"Zany Tuesday" is hosted
by the Athletic Association
under the direction of Miss
Hansen. According to
Hansen, the goals of the
association are to promote
school spirit and to
encourage students to do
something positive at lunch.
"Instead of having students

Parents prepare for interviews at St. Anne's
The early part of November
is a hectic time as teams get
close to the end of their
seasons, drama productions
are offered to the public and
mid-term reports go out to
parents so they might know
how their son or daughter is
doing in their studies.
This week we will have a
special staff meeting to learn
more about the secondary
school reforms that will be
effective as of September,
1999.
The school is entering a
float in the Santa Claus
Parade in Clinton. The
parade is in its third year of
operation and looks like it
will be a great way to begin
the Christmas season. The
school choir performed
Sunday, in Bayfield, at the
annual Christmas concert.
Students in grade 9 are in
new classes as of Nov. 11,
