Q. Why should I give my vehicle a
tune up before winter?
A. Cold weather makes it more
difficult for engines to start. A tune up
gives you a better cold engine start
and also improves your fuel economy
by up to 25 - 30% which reduces
emmisions. "Cliffe Donaven, Service

Q. While driving, the only thing
between me and the road are my tires.
What is the best way to maintain and

A. Larry Dolmage of Archie's Service

are several ways to maintaining tires.
The first is check the air pressure, the
second is to balance the tires, the third
is to rotate tires about every 12,000 km
and an alignment every year or every
second year depending on how much

Q
. Why should I have my vehicles
suspension and tires checked before
winter comes?
A. Tires are the main contact
between you and the road which
means they are very important for
winter driving. You should ensure your
tires are durable and free from any
problems such as bad belts or heavy
wear. Without proper suspension in
your vehicle, your brakes may not
work as well as they should. "Murray
