activity.
Volleyball, basketball, golf
teams, cross country and
tennis are busy. The drama
club is auditioning for an
evening of one act plays.
These are directed by staff
and a student director. Late.

students eager to ge.t
involved in co -curricular
arts and sports.
Oct. 19 students in Grade 9
received an interim report.
There is no mark, just a
comment based on progress.
Mid-term reports with marks
will go -out on Nov. 18 prior
to the parents' information
meeting held on Monday,
Nov. 23 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
School advisory council
meetings are now held
monthly. Parents are always
welcome to attend. Check
your students' planner for
future datcs.
Parents are reminded to
call the school at any hour to
report a student absent.
Students over 18 years of
age should do so
themselves. Recently a letter
was mailed out to all parents
of students over 18 years of
age. There arc forms for
these students in the office.

Twenty RNs and RPNs from hospitals across the area attended a lab report interpretation
seminar at Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday, led by Irene Bouris. The seminar is
part of the on-going education required of nurses by the Ontario College of Nurses.
