' A four-part choir will he formed to sing at the International Plowing Match. A banner will be designed for this occasion. Flowers in the sanctuary were in loving memory of Alex Munn. The sympathy of the village is extended to the Munn fam- ily and the Coleman family. Rev. John Neilson was the guest minister at Hensall Carmel Presbyterian Church. "Increase Our Faith" was Rev. Marg Fuss and Marg Colc following church service. Marg Fuss has spent the last few months visiting hcr fami- ly while on vacation from her home in Hawaii. This event is - hosted by Town and Country Support Services and local volunteers. 'Leaf collection has begun in -the Village of Hensall. Leaves arc collected daily. Leaf piles should be on the boulevard not the road. and contain leaves only. Other green waste is collected on Mondays. and must he in cardboard boxes or contain; ers that can he dumped. Residents of Hensall-are reminded that collection of recyclahles and, tagged garbage goes to the hi -week- ly schedule in Novcmhcr. Please consult the calendar you received earlier this year. Week of thc Child will be October 16-24. This week celebrates children in thc community and will have many special events. The week is sponsored by the Village of Hensall and arca businesses and service clubs. Special lunch Seaforlh's business retch - lion and expansion commit- tee is organizing a "Community Acquaintance Luncheon" for Nov. 25. to welcome staff of the Avon Maitland District School Board to town. Thc board is moving into offices at Seaforth District High School at the start of that month. Prior to the luncheon a tour of the town is being arranged for board employees. Bragging Time, Crokinolc and a shopping trip uptown. Geri Fashions of London displayed quite an array of ' fall fashions during their stop at Maplewood. Viola Lawson, Hazel McGonigle, . Bea Kale. Helen Nott -and Tracy Nash did an excellent job modelling for our fashion show. The dance floor was very busy as residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music with the "Notes of Yesteryear".
