Team lists, and schedules are posted in the arena lobby. Each player will receive a schedule, and weekly games will be in the community cal- endar. Fall Rec Programs The Seaforth Recreation Department's fall leisure activity schedule is as fol- lows: Basketball will be held Thursday evenings from 8 to 10 p.m. at the high school beginning Oct. 1. Wood refinishing is on Monday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., also at SDHS, starting Oct. 5. Woodworking will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m at the high school beginning Oct. 6. Dog obedience will be held on Tuesday evenings at the Seaforth & District Community Centres from 7 to 8 pm beginning on Oct. 6. Volleyball, ballroom danc- ing, and sign language are all to be confirmed. Please watch for more details. Senior Games The Seaforth Senior Games committee hosted its annual potluck awards dinner last Tuesday night. Awards were presented to district winners. Those games were held in Mitchell. Gwen Scott placed first in the predition swim, Vivienne Newnham was second also in the predition swim, Drusilla Leitch placed second in golf, and Ken and Velma Preszcator placed third in solo. Gwen, Vivienne and Drusilla all qualified for the Provincial Games in Windsor last month, and Drusilla came homc with the silver medal. Congratulations to her and all winners. The committee would like to thank everyone for their participation. special thanks go out to Ann Wood and the rest of the kitchen helpers.
