This is very upsetting to the veterans and members of the Legion. We hope that whoever is respon- sible for this will please show the respect that the cenotaph and these wreaths deserve. The Sunday dinner for the public held last weekend was once again a big success. The committee would like'to thank everyone who donated desserts and helped in any way, and the public for their support. A Fish Fry and Elimination Draw is planned for Oct. 24. Tickets will he available at the Branch. More on this later. On Oct. 3 the annual Variety Show will he going to Parkwood Hospital. London to entertain the veter- ans. This year we are again asked to take bags of toilet articles for the veterans. They now -have to pay forthese themselves. Needed arc toothbrushes and paste. soap (like Dove), disposable razors (blue). shaving cream. fingernail clippers. combs, Seaforth Legion by Barbara Scott Kleenex. If you would like to donate articles for this please leave them at the Branch as soon as possible. The Senior Veterans Dinner will be held at Seaforth Branch 156 on Nov. 1. The Legion Child Identification Video Program Information will be sent home by the schools when dares are made. Part of this information should inform parents that these videos can only be accessed by the par- ents and the police in the case of a child going missing. No one else can see these videos.
