Both sheep clubs make it to final
O11 August 24 the Huron
Sheep Club had its fifth
meeting at Florence Pullen's.
First. they went to the hart
to look at a handling system.

through to show us how it
works. Then we went hack to
the house and did roll call.
The question was: "Name
one. special instrument used
by a shepherd during the
lambing season."

from Victoria. B.C. after a
week's stay with their son

Seaman on the HMCS
Vancouver. While there they
toured his ship and saw
where he maneuvers it.
Thanks to beautiful weather
and Kevin's friend Rob who
save up his room for us we
had a very enjoyable time.
The Go For The Gold was
on August 4. Both Sheep
Club teams got to the final
and Sheep Onc won the
game. Sheep Onc consisted
of Robyn Etherington, James
McNaughton, Laurie Rodges
and Derek Maloney. They
competed again on August
29.

Board saddened by death
The Huron -Perth Catholic
District School Board and its
employees were saddened to
hear of the death of Edith
McCarroll, in Stratford on
August 30th. She was well
known and respected as a
library consultant and
teacher. Heartfelt sympathy is
extended to her family, rela-
tives and many, many
friends. The funeral mass was
celebrated on Wed. Sept. 2 at
St. Joseph's Roman Catholic
Church, Stratford with Rev.
Father Richard Tremblay as
celebrant.

Dublin, who recently gradu-
ated from the teacher's col-
lege at Ottawa, after complet-
