Well Party for Rem and Greg
Murray was held last.
Saturday at the home of their
parents, Ron and Theresa
Murray, R.R. 1, Dublin.
A large crowd enjoyed
fellowship in a large tent and
were treated to a delicious
catered meal.
Many special guests
attended .(one being the
Mayor of Seaforth.. David
Scott). Both Murray brothers
are being married this
summer.
We wish these two special
couples a wonderful
marriage and future.

Last Sunday was also a
very special day. A very
special Dublin lady, Ursula -
McLaughlin was celebrating
her 85th birthday. St.
Patrick's Church was
crowded.
Following the Mass. we
celebrated her birthday in the
Parish Hall. Her family,
children. grandchildren and
socie
great grandchildren attended
along with many, many
friends where the CWL
ladies served a delicious
lunch.
Joe Eckert was thrilled to
have many visitors last
Sunday.
The yearly Eckert reunion
was held in Bayfield this
year. The weather cooperated
and this was the largest
Eckert reunion ever held.
Marie Delong organized it.
Some of Joe's visitors
included Marvin. Andrew:
John and Tanya and baby;
Joannie, Judy Eckert and her
fiance; Joe and Cathy Eckert.
Kitchener; and John and
friend, Waterloo.
Heartfelt sympathy of the
community is extended to the
family, relatives and friends
of Marilyn Dale. Seaforth,
who died on May26th at
Seaforth Community
Hospital. Sympathy io her

talked about the meeting she
had attended in Stratford. Pat
and Marilyn served lunch and
everyone enjoyed reviewing
OUT church's 150th
anniversary.
The Hensall and District
Horticultural Society held'a
successful plant sale on Bill
Gibson's side lawn. Many
plant, from an English country
garden were on sale as well as
a selection of herbs and house
plants and many .unusual
items.
The Horticultural Society has
recently been planting.the
village gardens.
Come out and visit with your
friends or make new friends at
the Hensall and Area
_Community Drop in. Our next
drop in will he held Thursday.

Fun Carnival begins tonight
at Walton Public School
This week had all the classes
working on projects for the
Seaforth Fall Fair.
There are paintings. stories.
poems and different. art forms
that will be entered in the Fair.
A highlight of the week was
the •Goderich public schools
combined bands that came
and played for the kids. Their
favorites were the songs from
the movies Grease and
Titanic.
The Early Year Students had
Gavin Bowers showing his
little grey kitten name
"Fluffy".
Sherry Lee Wernliam
brought in four chicks and
turkeys for the kids to see.'
They hopped from hand to
hand and lap to lap. The kids
noted how much they peeped.
Chris Holmes was the lucky
kid that got to take home
Coke and Pepsi for the
weekend:
There were quite a few long
faces this week when Mrs.
Vivian told the kids that she
would not be coming back
next year. Mrs. Vivian who
lives -in Seaforth has a new
position that is • closer to
. home.-
