Papple off to Guelph
The coach of the Huron
Hurricanes swim team,
Kendra Papple of
Egmondville, is moving to
Guelph.
Her husband, Don Burton,
has been named head coach
of the Guelph Marlins swim
team. Papple wild also
assume a position with that
club and the University of
Guelph's swim team.
Papple's most illustrious
protege on the Hurricanes,
Kristy Cameron of Clinton
who won a gold medal at last
year's Canada Games, is also
moving to Guelph to finish
high school so that she can
continue with her coaches
plus take advantage of the
better training facilities in
that city.
Papple has done a remark-
able job with the Vanastra-
hased area swim team.

awards last Wednesday. night.
Since Bruce Griffin and
Sean Ludwig seemed ser' sim-
ilat. as if almost joined at the
' hip, throughout their SDHS
athletic years jt didn't seem
right to separate them at the
end. said teacher Terry
Johnston in making the pre-
sentauon. •
The pair were co -winners
of top scour. male.' this year.
Cheryl Thompson was
picked senior female athlete
of the year.

week. He recently graduated
with an honours -degree in'
