Her husband, Don Burton, has been named head coach of the Guelph Marlins swim team. Papple wild also assume a position with that club and the University of Guelph's swim team. Papple's most illustrious protege on the Hurricanes, Kristy Cameron of Clinton who won a gold medal at last year's Canada Games, is also moving to Guelph to finish high school so that she can continue with her coaches plus take advantage of the better training facilities in that city.
