DEATHS z MCCOWAN, Kathleen "Kay": Kathleen `Kay McCowan of Stanley Township died at Seatorth Manor on Friday, May 15, 1998. She was 81. Mrs. McCowan was born in Stanley Township on June 23, 1916. She was marred to Ken McCowan. Mrs. McCowan was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Clinton. Along with her husband Ken. Mrs. McGowan is survived by her children Isabel and Allan Kuepter of R.R. 5, Wingham, Jean and Laverne Flynn of Exeter. Ken and Arlene McCowan and John and Heather McCowan, all of R.R. 1, Bruceheld. She is also survived by one brother, Archie Mustard of London and by one sister Edna Mustard of Clinton. Mrs. McCowan was the dearly loved grandmother of Kevin and Rob Kuepter. Mike. Steve, Jeff, Leanne. David, Mark. Becky and Enn McCowan. She was predeceased by one granddaugh- ter, Karen Kuepter and by two brothers, Aldie and Jack Mustard Visitation was held at Beattie Falconer Funeral Home in Clinton on Monday, May 18. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 19 with Rev. Nic Vandermey of St Andrew's - Presbyterian Church in Clinton officiating. The flower bear- ers were grandchildren, Leanne. Becky. DEATHS • SEGEREN, James Anthony: James Anthony Segeren of Clinton died in Exeter. on Friday, May 15. 1998. He was 40. Born in Seaforth on March 4, 1958, he was the son of John and Corrie Segeren. Mr Segeren was an ambulance atten- dant and a territory manager for Grand Valley Fortifiers. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Clinton. Mr Segeren was married to the former Lorie Blair on September 24, 1982 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seaforth. Along with his wife Lone• Mr. Segeren is survived by his children, Allison, Brittany and Bradley all at home. Along with his parents, John and Corrie, he was also the dear son-in-law of John and Ruth Blair of Clinton. He was the loving grandson of Johanna Segeren of Holland Mr. Segeren is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Mananne-and Ralph Smith of Seaforth. Melissa and Larry Dawson of Aylmer, Michael Segeren of Stratford. John and Tracy Segeren of Stratford and Melanie Segeren of Sebnngville He was the dear brother-in-law of Stephen and Glenda Blair of Seaforth. Visitation was held at Beattie -Falconer Funeral Home in Clinton on Sunday, May 17, fol- lowed by prayers at 9 p.m. The funeral service was held on Monday, May 18. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Clinton with Father Mark Poulin officiating.
