celebrations
Queensway
The highlight. of our week
was Thursday. May 7th when
we celebrated Mother's Day
with a baby and toddler
show. Staff brought in chil-
dren and grandchildren for
residents to enjoy. All the
children had the opportunity
to choose a prize from the
selection of door priz.es.
Later in the day Jack and
Irene Vincent provided an
afternoon of entertainment
and music. Following the
program a delicious choco-
late trifle was served.
Queensway's volunteer
-auxiliary met Monday morn-
ing and welcomed a new
member. Elly Reitsma. The
Auxiliary's biggest event to
prepare for this month is the
annual Hensall Community
Yard Sale. Plan to visit our
booth on the corner of Queen
and Nelson streets May 30th.
Tuesday Church service
was led by Lay Reader Pat
Dobbs of Exeter Anglican
Church. Her message was
"God Listens to Our Prayer."
Louise Rether Kopp, Maude
Connon. pianist: Belva Fuss,
organist, and Marg Cole also
assisted.

Returning to Marie's home

which she kept a secret from
us all. An afternoon, which
