Parents and Tots"Skaurig times are Tuesday morn ings from -10:00 am to 12:0( noon and Wednesday after- noons from 1:00 to 3:00 pm from October to March.. The Arena also offers free public skating every. Sunday after- noon (some exceptions apply.) with the financial help of many businesses and organizations. Watch for a flyer in October with all the dates. times and list of sponsors. SEAFORTH FIGURE SKATING CLUB Our skating club was established in the fall of 1950. We have approximately 160 skaters. They start at the pre- gtnner leve) which is -held on Mondays From 4:30-5 p.m. Then we have our beginners and elementary levels from 5-5:45 and our basic. novice 1. 2. 3. and 4 levels from 5'4,5-6:30. The pre -beginners are with a pro for the full half-hour. The rest of the levels spend half of their ice time with a pro. Our junior coaches step , in and help with the rest -of the lesson. Our intermediate skaters arc_ on the ice on Mondays from 6:30-8:10 p.m - and our • senior skaters front 7:15-8:50.:.Thursdays are also avail - ahlc to these skaters. ice time is front 4:5:30. Semi-pri- ��ate and private lessons are also -available at this time. Every other year the Figure Skating Club holds a carni- - val. Our -intermediate and senor skaters also have the option of going tit test days and inter -club competitions. If you arc interested and would like to try curling. the club offers free instruction every year to start the season off. The Curling Club plays host to many bonspiels and socials. ADULT LEISURE PROGRAMS The Seaforth Recreation Department offers Leisure Activities for everyone to enjoy. Fall programs begin in October and -Winter programs begin in January. POWER SKATING For ages 6 - 16 will he held at the Seaforth and District Community Centres. beginning in September, All chil- dren registered must have passed the beginner figure skat- ing or have at least one ear hockey- or rnigette. YOU _ can register on Wednesday -September -2nd or Thursday . Scptenther 3rd. from 7.- 9 p.m. both nights In the Arc:na. Prolessional instruction is given to the children.
