CANADA DAY
Canada will he celebrating its birthday on Wednesday. -
Jul I. 1998. Come celebrate with Seaforth and enjoy the
festivities planned. They include-
-Firemen's 'Breakfast -
-Poker Rally Walk from Victoria Park
-Entertainment in Victoria Park •-
-Giant Fireworks at the high school

ANNUAL FISHING DERRY
FOR KIDS
Boys and Girls 14 years of age and under will gather at
the Seaforth Lions Park at the crack of dawn to fish. -14.

HURON HOSPICE CELEBRITY
GOLF TOURNAMENT
A Celebrity. Golf Tournament. sponsored by. Huron
Hospice Volunteer Service will he held at the Seatintlt •
•Gulf and Country Club on Saturday. August 15tH "ler ott .
time will be 1:(x) pm. Perhaps your,tayorite celebrity -will
he.goifing at the Celebrity' (golf Tournament' This is a
-FUN-raising•event for Huron Hospice and the Lmphasis
,,on FUN. Golfing with a celebrhv is the special feature
of the day. You will have EIAGS ot• tun at the Co-ed • `
1i'xas'Scramble. The participants will enjoy 18 holes
golf. at lovely dinner with all the trimmings. and the mane
prizes available to he won. Huron Hospice Volunteer
Service is a dedicated team of volunteers providing -many
hours of home and hospital,carc each year. Volunteers
contribute to an atmosphere of compassion. emotional -
support. and respect for•mcmhers of our cots nonny whi
are facing a lite -threatening, illness. This service it pro-
vided free of charge in the community. Come out anel
have some fun and support the Huron Hospice Voluntccr,

The6th Annual Hockey School will he held on August 16
to 2-1 and August 23 to 28. 1997. at the Seaforth and
District Community Centres. Dave Mcl.lwain. and Mike
Watt. as well as many other local instructors will guide
the participants through 2 1/2 hours of ice time per. day.
daily video sessions and hockey assessment reports.
Fitness and activity sessions. (swimming, soccer, road
.hockey), seminars on nutrition. drugs and alcohor semi-
nars un University, and the OHL will be offered daily in
addition to the Under 17 programs.. Each player regis-
tered will receive hot lunches a Hockey School Sweater:
and a certificate of achievement signed by Dave.
Registraunn Fee is $265.(0, payable to Dave Mcl-Iwain
Hockey School Ltd. A deposit of $100.00 must accornpa-
n' the registration.form along with a post-dated cheque
for the balance for June 1. 1998. Registration bions can
