Spring break is creeping up on us once again
- Believe it or not the spring
break is just around the corner.
Once again the Seaforth
Recreation Department and the
Seaforth Co-operative
Children's Centre will be
offering activities for the chil-
dren to participate in during
this break. Daily activities will
, include howling, swimming,
games. arts and crafts, sports,
• movies and much, much more.
For more information or regis-
tration you can call the recre-
ation office or the children's
centre at 527-0682. Please note

ning separate programs, but
will be together on some activ-
ities.
The Senior Games committee

A multitude of medals
for junior broomballers
Seaforth's younger broom-
ballers had quite the weekend
at the Provincials at Stroud
and Lefroy, near Barrie.
The Central West teams
they play for won a gold, sil-
ver and three bronze medals.
"it was their best showing
ever," says Carol Humphries
of Egmondville. She says
there about 71 kids playing in
the local league.
Trevor Ward scored the
winner to lead. the midget
boys (14 to 16 -years -old) to a
2-1 win over the team from
Windsor, and the gold medal.
They won -four games -and
only lost once on the week-
end.
The juvenile girls (16 to 19)
lost their championship game
1-0 in overtime to the East,
so settled for silver medals,
after going 2-2 in the tourney.
Central West's peewee (co-
ed ( nine to 12 -years -old),
midget girls and bantam boys
(12 and 14) all bagged bronze
medals for finishing third:
The peewees and bantam
boys both finished with two
wins and two losses and the
midget girls won three and
lost two,
The juvenile boys finished
with one win and three losses
and out of the medal picture,
but the_ other_Central-West-
team from Palmerston won
the gold.

Anthropology concurrently. I have chosen the
Huron Expositor as my Co-op placement because I
hope to pursue a career in journalism. My educa-
tional goals include registration into the "Media
and Information Technoculture Combined
Honours Program" at the ! Jniversity of Western
Ontario this fall. Following completion of my.
