An organizational meeting
for the Huron County 4-H
Chinchilla Club was held
Dec. 27.
Leaders, Barb and Ray
Storey welcomed everyone.
Members introduced them-
selves by telling their name
and what their best.
Christmas present was.
The leaders described what
the club was all about and
what members have to do to
complete the project.
Membership fees were due at
the January meeting.
Election of officers was
held resulting with Allan

Members will buy their two
chinchilla at the meeting
being held at the end of
January.
Achievement Day Show
and Sale will be held at the
Walton Hall, April 25.
The first meeting of Huron
County 441 Chinchilla Club
met at 1 p.m.. President Allan
Storey opened the meeting
with ,the 4-H pledge. Roll call
was answered by telling
something about chinchilla'.
The leaders then informed
the meeting about chinchilla,
their feed and needs and why
they are raised. Members saw
a week-old chinchilla baby. It
had all its fur. Discussion fol-
lowed about buying and pick-
ing the chinchilla for the fol-
lowing meeting. The cost is
$70 for two chinchilla. The
meeting closed with pop and
cookies.
