Dear Santa....
Christmas is coming near,
all around the children cheer,
last minute shoppers are run-
ning around the town, listen-
ing to that Christmas sound.
Mothers going to the pound,
to look for that special
hound. Children are all set-
tled in their beds, with won-
derful dreams in their heads.
Every child is dreaming
about wonderful gifts to
come. Then Santa's work
will be done.

Christmas
almost
cancelled
One day in the North Pole
Santa and his elves were
doing the finishing touches
on the toys. Then Mrs. Claus
came in with milk and cook-
ies everybody pigged out.
"Thank you, Mrs. Claus,”
said one of the elves. "Back
to work everybody" said
Santa and then they got back
to work and worked and
worked. Then the break bell
rang. Santa hopped in his
sleigh and went for a ride. all
of a sudden the reindeer
stopped. Santa got out of the
sleigh and then the
Abominable snow monster
stepped on Santa. When the
reindeer flew away fright-
ened and sad for Santa. When
the reindeer got back without
Santa everybody heard that
Christmas was canceled
everybody was sad they all
wondered why? Meanwhile
in the North Pole a miracle
occurred Santa came back to
life and Christmas went on
and the presents got delivered
after all, and everybody was
happy.
