Plowmen meet
The annual meeting of the
Huron Plowmen's
Association was held last
Wednesday at the Clinton
OMAFRA office. There were
20 people in attendance.
The following officers were
returned: OPA director. Neil
McGavin: past president.
Paul Betties: president.
George Townsend: lst vice.
Paul Pentland: 2nd vice. John

The Queen of the Furrow
class is asailable for sponsor-
ship.
The 1991 Huron County
plowing match is tentatively
scheduled for Aug. 20. 21. A
site has yet to he confirmed.
hopefully in the southern part
of the county.

Seaforth 'Community'
Hospital Wenesday. The
youths ranging in age from
12 years and upwards vol-
-unteer their time throughout
the year to assist the nuns-

hospital. Susan Halfpenny
owner of Susan's Sewing
volunteered to instruct the
Junior volunteers in the art
of angel making.

them. Our juveniles have
improved tremendously. scor-
