SOCIAL WORKER - PART - TIME
The 78 bed Alexandra Marine and General .Hocpilal in
Goderich. Ontario requires a social worker for the 2(1 bed
Schedule I Department of Psychiatry.
Reporting to the Program Manager. Inpatient Mental Health
Services. the part-time social worker is responsible for
assessing the psychosocial needs of patients within the
department and participating in development and management
of programs to meet these needs.
The primary responsibilities are:
- to provide direct service to patients and their families within
the assessment and treatment framework of social work
skills and knowledge:
to provide discharge planning within the Department of
Pstichiatry through haisonrcullaboration with the
multidisciplinary team and community agencies.
The position will be of interest to a highly motivated
proteessronal who possesses a baccalaureate degree in social
work The successful applicant must have strong organizational
skills be a sett -learner and possess effective interpersonal and

ETUE: Mrs. Mary Madeline (Roth)
of Dublin and formerly of Seaforth
died Tuesday, November 25, 1997 at
Seaforth Community Hospital. She
had lived in Dublin since 1984 with
her daughter and son-in-law Lou and
Therese Maloney. She was 93 years
old and was bom September 8, 1904
in Wingham. She was the former
Mary M. Roth. daughter of the late
Wendel Roth and the former
Cathenne McCormick. On October
29. 1935 she married Maurice Etue,
who predeceased her on June 11.
1984. Surviving are a son, John Etue
and his wife Margaret of Waterloo
and a daughter, Therese Maloney
and her husband Lou of Dublin,
grandchildren Susan Heffeman and
her husband Ray of Lucan, Mary Lou
Scott and her husband Jim of
Mitchell, Diane Picard and her hus-
band Joe of LaSalle, Sheila Etue of
Boston. Patncia Spnnger and her
husband Garry of Wellesley. great-
grandchildren Mark and Jolene
Heffernan, Stacey, Katie, Laura,
Robin and Josie Scott and Robert
and Daniel Picard. brothers and sis-
ters Frank Roth of Elora, Joseph
Roth and his wife Helen of Inkster,
Michigan, Harold Roth of London.
Sister Genevieve Roth of Adrian,
• Michigan and Sister Teresa Roth of
Windsor. Besides her husband. she
was predeceased by a grandson,
Joseph P. Maloney, in 1980, brothers
Daniel Roth in 1972, John Roth in
1982, Innes Roth in infancy, and
Sister Henrietta (Dorothy). Family
received friends at the Whitney-Ribey
Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street
West, Seaforth on Thursday from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian
Bursal was held at St. James Roman
Catholic Church, Seatorth on Friday,
November 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
Antonio Del Clancio officiating.
Pallbearers were grandchildren and
great grandchildren Ray Heffernan.
Mark Heffernan. Jolene Heffernan.
Jim Scott. Stacey Scott and Garry
Springer. Flower bearers were great-
grandchildren, Katie Scott, Laura
Scott, Robin Scott and Josie Scott.
Commentator was Mamie Delaney
and the Readers were Susan
Heffernan, Diane Picard and Jolene
Heffeman. Offertory Bearers were
Mary Lou Scott and Patricia Springer.
Parish prayers were held on

Clinton Public Hospital, Wesley
Jacob Coombs, in his 2nd year.

tence at Goderich Hospital will be

all his help since my surgery. A spe-

quick action in getting me back to

lent care. Thanks to the ambulance
drivers from Seaforth and Stratford
for their kindness and help. As well.
