Has everyone got their
Christmas shopping done? 1
sure hope it's a white
Christmas this year.
On Nov. 1 all our residents
had baking club. We made
baked apples. Myrtle Read
washed all the apples and
everyone filled their own
apple with brown sugar and
cinnamon. Isabel Murray
thought they were "finger
licking good".
We have been busy baking
cookies, squares and other
baked goods for our bake sale
and tea on Dec. 12 from 2-4
p.m. Everyone is welcome to
come. Proceeds go to the res-
idents fund. Donations of
baked goods are welcome.
Our Pajama Party on Nov. 5
was a big success. Eighteen
residents dressed in house-
coats and pajamas. We
Played many games and had
many "winners". From the
funniest slippers, which was
Myrtle Read, to the most col-
orful pajamas, which was
Agnes McClinchey. We had a
lot of laughs. After an
evening of games, we had
tasty squares made by our
dietary staff. 1t was a great
evening. Thank you to every-
one who participated.
We are putting a man-sized
nativity scene outside in our
patio area. We will he setting
it up by Dec. 1. If anyone
would like to view it, please
feel free.

Murray's card game
Dublin
by Dorothy Dillon

Those six Murray brother:
had another card game al
brother Ronald's farm home.
One brother (we won't say
who) we'll just say the one
with the new Cadillac, forgot
about the game. Maybe those
Cadillacs are not as fast as
they claim to be. It only took
him 135 seconds to get to
Ronald's once he was
reminded of the games. We
had a real mild game with
Joe, Ronald and Arthur on
top, with Jerry, Cyril and
Jerome just a little behind.
Happy 18th birthday to
Mary Jayne Snowdon of
Dublin.
Dublin and area has been
saddened by two recent
deaths.
Heartfeltsympathy of the
community is extended to the
family of Mary Etuc and to
the family of Thomas Nigro.
