Election ridings Ontario Liberals in the Huron and South-West Bruce region will be experiencing a rebirth on Thursday. Under provincial legislation passed last year, Ontario's 130 ridings will be abolished and replaced with 103 new ones, mirroring the federal boundaries. On Saturday the Dominican Republic Third World Awareness Poverty Group went around knocking on doors in the bandshell area talking to residents and leav- ing notices about their plans. Three of the bands are from Stratford and the other, N.R.L., from Seaforth. Derek Akey, Sean Ludwig and Rob Spittal play for that group. Michelle Henderson, speak- ing for the St. Michael group, being downsized Huron -Bruce. The meeting will be held at the Legion hall in Lucknow beginning at 7:30 p.m. Liberal members from the former ridings of Huron and part of Bruce will elect a new executive and adopt a new constitution. MPP Gerard Kennedy, the Liberal Health Critic, and runner-up to Dalton McGuinty in the Liberal leadership race, will be the guest speaker.
