Some councillors voiced
concerns at last week's regu-
lar meeting at Town Hall
about a rock concert in
Saafotth at Victoria Pant on
Sept. 20, with four area brads
playing starting at 4 p.m.
A group of Seaforth and
area students from St.
Michael Secondary School in
Stratford had asked permis-
sion to use the bandshell for
the concert, to raise funds for
their annual trip to the
Dominican Republic to study
Third .World development.
All Recreation director Marty
asopicia
Bedard repotted it would ftn-
sh at about 8 p.m. that

Mike's: fents will make
sure the park is cleaned up
after them.
"Why don't they have it at
St. Mike's?" Coun. John Ball
asked out loud, implying
"outsiders" would be there.
"What about liability for
insurance?"
Deputy -reeve Bill Teall
asked the recreation director
if residents in the immediate
vicinity were being notified.
The recreation director said
this kind of event has never
been done before, and the
groups would be a bit differ-
ent than say the old
Seaforth/Dashwood band,
which has played the park
before without official notifi-
cation of neighbours.
Election ridings
Ontario Liberals in the
Huron and South-West Bruce
region will be experiencing a
rebirth on Thursday.

and replaced with 103 new
ones, mirroring the federal
boundaries. Accordingly, on
Thursday, Sept. 11, a meeting
will be held to establish a
new Liberal riding
association for the new
provincial constituency of
