Seaforth celebrates Canada
Day this year on Tuesday,
July 1. Once again local fire-
men begin the day with their
annual breakfast at the fire -
hall beginning at 7 a.m. The
heritage walk poker rally
starts in Victoria Park, with
• interested people (please)
registering between noon and
12:30 p.m. Huron County
Child Find will hold a mini -
carnival in the park from 1 to
3 pm. Face painting and
kid's games will be set up.
At 3 that afternoon we hope
to have the Seaforth -
Dashwood Community Band
at the bandshell, but they still
haven't confirmed. The
annual giant fireworks dis-
play will end off the day. It
will be at the high school,

Althouse College, University of
Westem Ontario on June 11, 1997
with a degree in
junior/Intermediate Education.
Susan previously atteded Honda
Atlantic University where she
received a B.A. in Arts and

tennis, or improve how you
play? The Seaforth
Recreation Department is
offering tennis lessons for
both teens and adults, with
both beginner and advanced
sessions. They begin the first
week of July. Adults will
learn on Thursday evenings
and teen on Wednesday
mornings.

also host a computer camp
for children ages 8 to 14

school from July 7 to July 11,
and July 14 to July 18. The.
camp will be two, one-week
sessions from 9 a.m. to noon

Once again the rec depart-
ment, with instructor Brian
O'Reilly, will be offering a
summer conditioning camp.
This camp will be for hockey
players wishing to keep their
skills in top form for the
upcoming season. It will be
on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday momings at the arena
during the month of July.
Registration Fee will be $75,
which includes a t -Shirt.
