Cast members include (from left) Brian Paul, Beverley Elliott, Carolyn Hay, Eric Coates, Raoul Bhaneja and Scott Hurst. Booze Days, directed by Paul Thompson, will be a collective about the "dry" days in Huron County. If you have stones to share, anonymously, about the old booze days, call the Blyth Festival at (519) 523-4345. Dublin saddened by recent deaths Dublin and area were deeply saddened by recent deaths. Heartfelt sympathy of the community is extended to the family of Gordon Miller, a resident of the Mitchell Nursing Home and formerly of McKillop Township and Brodhagen, who died on May 15. Sympathy is extended to his family, Marjorie Moore and husband John of Dublin; to Leonard Miller of Kitchener; to Linda Webster and hus- band John of Grafton; to grandchildren Connie Moore of Guelph; Mark and Sharia Moore of Kilworth; Lisa and Julie Miller of Kitchener; and to Janson and Heather Webster of Grafton. Eleanor Horst gave the treasurer's report in in the absence of Dilys Finnigan. Nancy Kale introduced speaker Larry Lamb of Kitchener. His topic was "Planting to Attract Wildlife to Your Garden." He recom- mended using natural and unusual plants, cats are a great menace and he suggest- ed using "Scoot". She read a thank you note. Beatrice Stoll gave a report of the district meeting held in Wingham April 26. Nancy Kale report- ed membership stands at 122. She has arranged for a bus to go to Niagara to see the but- terflies on July 23. The June meeting is a visit to Harold Beakhursts garden in Bayfield and to the home of Karen and Kay Whitmore in Clinton. Door prizes were won by season opens The Seaforth Lawn Bowling Club officially opened for the season on Monday afternoon May 19. Two games were played and winners were Mary Finlayson and Eileen Adamson for the ladies and Fred Tilley and Neil Bell for the men. Some 30 members and associates attended the potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Hostesses were Marie Thomas and Thelma Coombs with Marie welcom- ing all and offering grace. Kenya and Tanzania where she had gone for the Food Grains bank. Joan saw some of the grain which has been sent from Canada. It was very interest- ing in these other countries. We are so lucky to live in Canada, such a great country. Kay O'Rourke thanked the speaker and presented her with a gift. Clarissa Stewart had a read- ing - Eatons.
