At this meeting we voted fora president, Rob Vin Hoven; vice-president, sec- retary Stephanie Oliver and John Storey and press reporter, Allan Storey. The leaders are Don Dodds and Bath Storey. New members filled out membership cards. We filled out sheets with names and phone numbers. Our next meeting is June 2, 1997. It will be held at Ray and Barb Storey's. Farm machinery club visits dealers By Adam Koehler On Monday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. our Farm Machinery meeting was held at Hyde Farm Equipment in Hensall. We talked about diesel engines. Our final meeting was held at Huron Tire in Clinton on May 12 at 7:30. We talked about different kinds of tires. Thank you to Vincent Farm Equipment, McGavin Farm Equipment, Hyde Brothers Farm Equipment, Allan Haugh and Huron Tire for hosting our club meetings. Saddle Sisters learn about horses By Lydia Zola!! The organizing meetin the Saddle Sisters was Tuesday, April 29th. As can tell from the group na this is a 4-H group based horses. Housing and tac the topic this year. Their name are Jesslyn • Carnochan Meagan Flanagan an Amanda Ryan. All the positions were cho sen at the meeting. Before the members came, they had to choose what horses they'd be using. All members of the club will be working on showmanship. Through the progrlam I'm sure the mem- bers will all learn valuable care tips. They decided that in case any male members were interested in joining, they'd call themselves The Saddle Gang. I'd say they all had fun like I'm hoping it'll be for the rest of the 4-H meetings.
