SPRING FLING - Manor residents enjoyed dancing to the music of Marie Flynn and the
Huron Strings who performed April 24 for the Spring Fling.
Entertaining spring for manor residents
May is here and along with
good weather this is the
month that we can remember
how much our mothers mean
to us.
Residents at the Retirement
Home started our annual gar-
dening club in April. We
planted many seeds, with
many of them showing good
progress. We planted toma-
toes and beans. We have
many green thumbs at the
Retirement Home.
We have had some students
from St. Michael's School in
Stratford come in to volun-
teer. We enjoy them playing
euchre, bingo and other activ-
ities for us. Thank you to
Kelly Devereaux, Don Sills,
Jered Munro, Melissa
Finlayson and Rob Craig.
We have had several
evenings when Henrietta
Brown played the piano and
Don Sills sang for us. The
piano music and the singing
were most enjoyable. Thank
you bath.
Ros ; Cardiff's daughters,
Doren • and Dale were in and
played the piano for us. It is

always a treat to have family
members entertain for us.
Thank you.
On April 16 we had a
flower word scramble. It cer-
tainly helped us think spring-
like even though the weather
was not. Antje Veldhuis won
the prize for thinking of three
other flowers that weren't on
the list.
On April 18 the Sonic
Youth Group were in to play
bingo with us. We enjoy their
company and its always a
treat to have children around
us. Thank you to all of you.
April 24 was our spring
fling. We enjoyed dancing to
the music of Marie Flynn and
her band. Our toes were tap-
ping and our feet dancing to a
variety of old familiar tunes.
We then enjoyed a delicious
dinner prepared by our
dietary staff.
April 29 was our tropical

help.
Adair also testified that
before he left, he noticed a
couple he recognized at the
harbour as residents of
Kitchener. He said they had
been preparing for dinner in
the back of their boat.
He didn't specifically
notice the Agawa Canyon,
saying there are always ships
in the harbour.
In a lengthy cross-exami-
nation, Greenspan went over
in detail the time -line Adair
had presented when describ-
ing the events.
Greenspan used phone
records to show Adair didn't
get to the boat until about 45
minutes after he said because
of a phone call that was made
from his home to his moth-
er's in Stratford that evening.
"I suggest to you, what you
saw occurred on a date other
than May 31," Greenspan
said.
Under cross-examination,
Adair indicated he had seen
Murray at his boat in the past
with young employees from
the Park House.

At press time, further testi-
mony from witnesses at the
harbour were expected on
Tuesday.
Moms indicated he would
also be calling witnesses in
regard to the search for a
body and to how water tem-
peratures would prevent a
body from surfacing in the
lake.
