Jamboree, i.. ..
in
ree, July 12-20 in
Thunder Bay.
'The Jamboree happens only
once every four years. Scouts
and Venturers from across
Canada gather for a week of
camping and supervised
activities. The experience is a
once-in-a-lifetime opportuni-
ty. Just ask any adult who had
the privilege of attending as a
youth.
Seaforth has not participat-
ed inthe J
amboree for some
time. Plans are to make the
spaghetti supper an annual
event with all proceeds desig-
nated for• a special
"Jamboree" account. Then,
when the many boys and
girls in the younger branches
reach the age of Scouts, the
funds will be in place for
them to attend.
Meanwhile, the current
Scouts and Venturers are
working hard to raise money
for this year's Jamboree.
